Tough Summer Days Ahead.

 Ring Shark 2023 is a Japanese Paranormal horror movie. It has also been known as Well Shark. If Its ambition is to be a sharksploitation cult horror cross over it fails. This influencer documentary form of storytelling with a host of unusual character interviews lacks impact. Lots of shoddy cam didn’t help either. I watched the movie in its original Japanese version and understood little and could not identify with its cultural posturing. It is very wordy and with little visual stimuli to focus on I found myself pressing fast forward. By the end I felt that this movie could  have had more impact as a limited tv series or webasode. However I suspect that this movie is parodying a tv series. The shark is a rubber head that is somewhat better than a Polonia Brothers prop. However the head only gets about half a minute total screen time.There is a paranormal tie to the Japanese movies Love Shark 2023 and Last Shark 2024 as I recognise the lead character ?
