 Apex Predators 2 The Spawning 2024 is a Dustin Ferguson movie and nearly as non sensical as its predecessor. You know they are desperate for your attention when the bikini count trope is blatantly played out mid movie. The plot is just a bunch of jarringly cut things that happen tied together by shark attacks. However this time his budget has extended to some CGI renderings for those attacks. I am sure that Dustin is reusing some footage from his first Apex movie as filler. It would take more fortitude than I currently have however to rewatch and confirm my suspicions. There are a couple of amusing shark attack scenes and the anticipation of more kept me watching through till the end. Well not really being an ending, it just fizzles out. The whole thing is mercifully only 70 minutes long.
