 Fear Below 2025 is an Australian produced action horror movie. If you make a shark movie in Australia there is a lot of well produced sharksploitation you will be competing with. Thankfully this production is fine competition and sharksploitation gold. The scripting is taunt with no filler in addition to being a well paced three act story. Tension is kept high by a combination of the fear of the unknown and the increasing threat level of the antagonists. In the water the murky river environment keeps us on edge waiting for the shark encounters.When they arrive they are thrilling. The cinematography both under and on the water  uses a lot of close shots making the drama feel immediate. The first era of diving suits and helmets add claustrophobia to bring the tension to near breaking point. The shark rubber fin and CGI is so well executed that I was on the edge of my seat. I love it when I get drawn into a movie like that. Highly recommended.
