It’s The Minds Reaction To Extreme Terror. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nightmare Shark 2018 is a SyFy channel Supernatural horror movie. Its Sharksploitation elements are placed firmly in what I have come to term as a sub genre, Allegorical Sharksploitation. There is no real shark and it is only encountered by the protagonists in their dream or dreamlike states. The plot is standard fare supernatural horror and is loaded with tropes from that genre. Yet it is exciting enough to  keep you engaged even as the premise gets wilder from act to act. The CGI shark is deliberately exaggerated in its dental work and boasts what can best be described as excessive tribal scaring. For the diehard Sharksploitation fan there is a lovely Easter egg in a scrapbook referencing Trailer Park Shark 2017 and Atomic Shark 2016. These movies have some cast and crew overlaps for you to discover. Primarily though this is only an essential primer for those seeking an answer on how to end an existential Shark God.
