 Roboshark 2015 is a Syfy Network movie firmly in the class of so bad it’s good. Like other sharksploitation in this category it’s deliberate “We are playing this for laughs” formula works. The out of this world premise with its weaponised Shark and interfering tech billionaires and less than optimal military involvement makes for a great comical playground. The CGI is nothing great but the scenes in which it is used are quite novel. The acting is nothing great either, overacting  is the norm in the silly shark sub genre so no complaints here, it just adds to the chuckles.This is another guilty pleasure in the same camp as Sand Shark 2011, Ghost Shark 2013 and Avalanche Sharks 2014. If you’re up for a watch, turn your intellect off and the chuckles will come. You get bonus points for spotting the Dr Strangelove reference.
