The Whole Damn Thing.

Jaws At Fifty 2025 is a National Geographic documentary that lives up to its tag line, The Definitive Inside Story. We don’t really care about celebrity endorsements for Jaws as we know how this movie made us feel and how we reacted at the time of its discovery. Primarily because those feelings stayed with us our entire lifetime. That said I am pleased that Emily Blunt appears as a non professed super fan. So what is the point of another gushing ,making of, documentary. Well, the delve into Steven Spielbergs and Peter Benchleys back story is now more informative as it  throws into canonical perspective the origin of the ideas that drove the phenomenon. There is no real new video however that adds to the story. But I didn’t expect any as if you have spent time on the subject the internet has not thrown up anything new for years. It’s the 2025 interviews themselves and in particular Steven Spielberg’s personal journey post Jaws release that are interesting and fresh. It is even more remarkable given that some of this story’s incites are coming to us now not just  we are fifty years on, but because people genuinely want to know. We are given biopic details what would normally have been omitted if Jaws had been less than the masterpiece that it is. So what we have here is, the most definitive updated story and certainly the last word on the subject for the generations that have experienced Jaws since its initial release. Well worth diving into. I wonder what future celebrities will say when they do Jaws at 100. Well no I don’t really.

This Deservedly Is The Best That Has Been Done For The Anniversary.
