That’s Going To Be Bad For Business. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sand Sharks 2011 is an American World Pictures movie that I’ve seen three times now. Twice was probably enough but then I discovered I had not given it a rating. So out comes the DVD. Just a note on the DVD slicks, the European one is way more interesting than the one we got for Asia. That aside, a rewatch is not an odious task as I will admit this movie has been a guilty pleasure in the same way that Ghost Shark and Avalanche Shark are also. It is enjoyable because it has actors who really infuse the plot with the comedic element it needs. It’s a silly shark movie so you get a silly Jurassic type shark render to enable its use of both aquatic and non-aquatic environments. Sharksploitation tropes abound and It’s light, bright and quite gory in places. The simple plot adds rather than detracts from the visual spectacle and the dialogue is jam packed with great one liners. Yes, it’s as fun and well-paced as I remember it, a silly shark classic.

If you enjoy this try, Ghost Shark 2013, Avalanche Shark 2014.
