“There’s A Great White In The Lake/River/Swamp” !

 The general release of this years silly Shark movies seem to be taking our antagonists into new non traditional environments. I look forward to such body invading movie's as Nano Shark 2024 and Chum 2024 and even Sharks From Outer Space 2024. It seems appropriate then to consider the other non traditional Shark attack locations, that is the American lakes and river systems. production teams are finding that the American lakes are again practical and cost effective places to shoot our beloved B grade mid budget movies. Recent entries such as the three Bull Shark movies released 2022 to 2024 and Below 2023 and Shark Warning 2024 are the most recent examples. The Bull Sharks movie progenitor Shark Lake 2015 is basically the same script but for my money you only need to watch the first Bull shark movie as it’s the best of all the screenplays. But let’s look at this chronologically. Here then are the known Lake and River Shark movies

Red Water (USA) 2003, Blue Demon 2004, Shark Night 2011, Swamp Shark 2011, Raiders Of The Lost Shark 2015, Jurassic Shark 2012, Shark Lake 2015, Dam Sharks 2016, Sharkansas Woman’s Prison Massacre 2016, Shark Shock 2017, Mississippi River Sharks 2017, Bull Shark movies 2022-2024, Below 2023, Shark Warning 2024.

I do not include here movies shot on a lake that are aiming to convince you that the story is set at sea. Neither do I include European waterways which removes the excellent Under Paris 2024.
