Get Your Breathing Under Control. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Last Breath 2024, starts with a shark attack within minutes, However you don’t get the next attack until some 49 minutes pass. But that’s OK as the production is doing it’s best to keep me engaged.The plot unfolds accompanied by a bright soundtrack and some nice establishing shots, Enthusiasm  abounds with the cast and I’m still on board. The cast then becomes a mixture of likeable and dislikable characters so I could option those I want to see eaten and hedge those I think will be likely to survive. The shark renders are blended well in the murky sunken wreck interiors making the sudden quick and violent attacks thrilling. They are not the crystal clear renderings you get with the Chinese sharksploitation movies, (as per usual ignore the slicks) they are more of an impression than a warts and all. But theres nothing like a great white to bring out the best and worse in people as exemplified here. The cast are certainly chumming the waters in this outing. While it is not a threat to such movies as 47 Metres Down when it comes to the terror,  it certainly does a good job of keeping the tension and hysterics going by act 3. A nice slice of comfort food for your sharksploitation fan, nothing new but what’s offered is palatable. I hope that you also find the romantic sub plot as endearing as I did ?
