 Shark Bait 2022 is a movie with Jet Ski’s. Not Since Dino Shark 2010 has the Jet Ski been put to such good use. Unlike Dino shark this movie has the Jet Ski as a central vehicle not only for propulsion but also as a plot device. The other plot devices although not new, certainty feel fresh when played with the level of intensity displayed here. So, the director knows what he is doing for sharksploitation. The drama is kept high and so too is the suspense. The shark is conveyed as a clear and present danger that explodes into action with terrifying intent. There is even a strong hero's journey arc in this engaging story. A well-made sharksploitation gem. Not bad for a movie that teased you in the opening scenes as being just another spring break horror romp.
