What's A Girl Like You Doing In A Place Like This. ⭐⭐⭐

 Shark 1969 is an American/ Mexican film starring Burt Reynolds. Before Indianna Jones, Before Jason Stratham and Meg, there was Burt Reynolds, who as you will see is a mixture of all these characters. However, the real stars of this movie are the stuntmen who really put their lives on the line for this movie. In fact, one even died from an attack in an opening scene. The other horrific scene of this movie is a child smoking. Despite its noir pretensions it is really a toned-down Indiana Jones style action-adventure movie. About 40 minutes in and we are treated to some good diving footage and shark interaction. Considering the era this was made in I still find myself engaging with the characters if not totally empathetic to their world view. Anyway, worth a view for the dive and shark footage. No CGI here and remarkable for just that.
