Stalkers Prey 1 and 2 and 3 ⭐⭐

 Stalkers Prey is a three-movie franchise to date. Stalkers Prey 2017, Stalkers Prey 2: A Predators Obsession 2020, Stalkers Prey 3: A Predator Returns 2021.  I initially dismissed the original movie as you only get approximately 3 minutes of shark time. So, this was essentially a horror stalker drama with a shark in it. By stalkers prey 2 they were ramping up the shark involvement as you get nearly 9 minutes of shark action as well as developing a shark obsessive antagonist. By Stalkers Prey 3 I was invested in the franchise not for the CGI shark but for the shark obsessive character passing himself off as a shark expert, who incidentally is named Bruce. A sly nod to Jaws perhaps?

you really have to decide if you want to watch these as horror thrillers or as a sharksploitation completist. I fall into the latter category as non-aquatic stalkers are not my thing. But the acting is good and the series certainly blends the genres well.
