Shes Not Possessed, Shes A Conduit.

Alien Shark 2022 is loaded with the tropes you expect from sharksploitation movies. Checklist includes bikini's, flat forced acting and this time round, alien possession. The shark and those possessed have green eyes, which makes a change from the red and yellow we see in such movies as Shark Exorcist or Virus Shark, which this movie clearly shares as a stable mate. This would have made a good comedy with a total rewrite but what we get instead is awkward social situations peppered with uninteresting dialog in a beach house full of 20 somethings. Here then is a wasted opportunity to have made a so bad its good movie, instead of just bad. Teenagers might like the bikini count though.
