Megalodon Rising 2021, is an Asylum movie. It sets the bar high by the appearance of no less than 3 Megalodons in the first 3 and half minutes. Add to this the rising tension between the navel superpowers and you have the story elements of a blockbuster. But what you get instead is a wordy navel drama with flat tensionless performances. At no time did I feel the fate of San Diego was in the balance. I am usually a sucker for some good CGI, but this outing was hazy and quite repetitive. For Megalodon movie completists only.
