I Am Not Going Down By Shark. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

 Shark Season 2020 sees Glenn Campbell doing the visual effects, and he knows his 6 metre sharks (check the recent Blind Waters 2023). There is a real sense of vulnerability and isolation by frequent use of distant aerial shots interspersing those taken at sea level. Thankfully the hysterics and drama kick in after a feel-good set up that labors on for almost a third of the movie. I enjoyed the technical workings of the rescue search as this sets it apart from other sharksploitation stalker plots. Characters are relatable and I only wanted to see about 50% of the cast eaten. A nice addition to the genre.
