Extra Sensory Preceptors Are Required.

Invisible Shark is a weird shark movie in the sub-genre I was terming allegorical sharksploitation, which includes the features No Shark and The Sharks and recently in 2024, Subway Shark. In this outing another frustrated girl navigates sharksploitation after an invisible shark attack renders 2 people nonexistent right before her eyes. I couldn't explain the plot even if I tried. This time the internal monologue of the first movie is now mostly externalized as she sees and interacts with invisible people. So, I guess Cody Clarkes budget just went through the roof. This movie does not entertain as the dialogue just layers the protagonist's projected overblown insecurity and angst. I loved the novelty of the first but now realise with this second outing that a heightened level of introspection can be quite boring particularly when none of the characters have any redeeming qualities.
