Shark Attack 3 Megalodon is a difficult movie in structure. The writers were off to a good start with the first movie of the series but were lapsing into a formulaic plot by this outing. The shark attacks for acts one and two seem spread out only to punctuate plot development. They seem then to have added plenty of nudity and production seems to have maximised the sexualisation potential to keep the viewers interested. This is known as the bikini effect. Good location but I don't think you can go wrong shooting off the coast of Mexico it has worked wonders for Rodger Cormans production team. Ok so pretty average fair. No, in act three it totally redeems itself. The Meg finally reveals itself in all its glory (a mixture of live, CGI and rubber shark footage). The action goes through the roof, and you are on the edge of your seat (Or laughing in the case of my good lady). Sharksploitation fans need to stay for act 3 as it pays off in tension, cinematic action and finale.
