The Shark Whisperer. ⭐

Dark Tide 2012 is not a sharksploitation movie. Sharks feature prominently but they are just doing their real life thing. Real shark footage is used in the assumption that it would make the movies plot more tense and here it fails. Your typical shark movie fan has probably overdosed on the discovery channels shark week footage to ever be impressed with what is offered here. However, the underwater camera work is good, just not discovery channel great.The characters are kind of flat though and in no moment did I feel any suspense brewing. So, watch it for its uncomplicated if long winded story but stay for the shark footage.
