Red Fin Strikes Again And Again. ⭐⭐⭐

Atomic Shark is an idea that you want to succeed but you know will fall short by the scope of its ambition. It starts out well as a homage to those movies from the 50's where nuclear irradiated beasts roamed the pacific. The irradiated shark attacks that wreak havoc on the bathing community of San Diago whilst doing other collateral damage is a little different. But only a little. This movies strength is in its shark eradication techniques which are well executed and draw you in. A well-paced story, with only one real weakness, Schoolboy humour plied early in the establishing storyline which just doesn't fit the action-packed tone of the rest of this shark outing. Not sure if it was the cinematography or not but the murky water scenes off the coast of San Diago did not make the place look inviting. Water quality aside, Overall, something different and what a big finish.
