Existential Shark Horror. ⭐⭐
No Shark is just that. I don't give spoilers normally; I mainly want to talk about how these movies make me feel. Some outline is needed though for this unusual entry, so here it is. An inner monologue delivered by a young girl with some sort of a shark complex that goes undiagnosed. Compelling for just that. You want to hear where she is going with her butterfly intellect as she flits from one set of ideas to another. Sharks are definitely being existentially exploited here. Another sharksploitation element is the proliferation of girls in multiple swimsuits. You need something to watch while this 12-part loquacious horror is spouted. Additionally, you get to see a variety of stereotypical beach settings. The blandness of evil comes across strong in these scenes. Are we seeing the birth of a new sharksploitation movie experience, if so, I call dibs and name this new sub-genre allegorical sharksploitation.
For Allegorical sharksploitation see also, Invisible Shark, The Sharks, Subway Shark.
