Smart Sharks, Smart Movie. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

 Deep Blue Sea 1999 introduces you to sharks with enlarged Intelligence and the scientists they prey on.  Take an aquatic apex predator and make it smarter whilst the cast are surrounded by that predator’s natural environment, Best B grade plot ever. It feels so current and relevant seeing corporate scientists showing so little common sense but this movie dates back to the twentieth century. Good pacing and claustrophobic interior sets ramp up the tension for an action-packed horror. All up a total wild ride. By assist from a big budget (for the time) it has helped to pave the way for all those gorgeous 21st century B-grade shark movies that we’ve come to love.
